What is a Final Clean?

In plain English.

When construction or remodeling finishes, the work itself might be done, but the space is anything but clean. There's a fine layer of construction dust on every surface, paint splatter on the floors, sticker residue on the windows, fingerprints on the cabinets, and debris hiding inside the vents and air registers.

A Final Clean is the deep, top-to-bottom cleaning that turns a freshly built or remodeled space into something ready to be lived in, sold, leased, or handed off. We do this so you don't have to. By the time we leave, the floors are clean enough to set furniture down on, the air is clean enough to breathe, and the space looks the way it was supposed to look the day construction wrapped.

Whether the space is a custom home about to be handed to a buyer, a unit being turned for a new tenant, a remodel being handed back to a homeowner, or a commercial TI on a tight closeout deadline, the core problem is the same. Construction makes a space dirty in ways normal cleaning doesn't address. That's the gap we close.

If you've ever walked into a freshly built space and found dust on top of the fan blades a week later, whether it's your house, your buyer's, or a unit you just turned, that's exactly what we eliminate before anyone notices it. — Carlo & Jorden, Clean Buddies
What's Included

Every surface. Every detail. No shortcuts.

A Final Clean from us is not just sweeping and wiping. Here is what our crews actually do, room by room and surface by surface.

01

Walls, ceilings, and corners

Full dust removal from walls, ceilings, baseboards, crown molding, corners, and any decorative trim. Anywhere drywall dust likes to settle.

02

Cabinets, inside and out

Every cabinet door, drawer, and shelf wiped down. Inside, on top, behind, and around. So when you put your dishes away, they go onto a clean surface.

03

Windows and tracks

Interior glass cleaned by hand, plus the tracks and sills where dust and tiny shards of debris love to hide. Exterior windows available as an add-on.

04

Floors, every type

Tile mopped, hardwood treated gently, carpet vacuumed, grout edges detailed. We use the right product for each floor so nothing gets damaged or dulled.

05

Bathrooms and kitchens

Showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, countertops, backsplashes, and appliances polished and sanitized. Stickers and labels removed from glass and stainless.

06

Light fixtures and ceiling fans

Every fixture, fan blade, and bulb wiped down. The places no one remembers to clean are usually the ones holding the most dust after construction.

07

Outlets, switches, and vents

Every outlet plate, light switch, and air vent cleaned. Construction dust gets pulled into your air system, so we make sure it is wiped at the source.

08

Doors, handles, and hardware

All interior doors, frames, hinges, knobs, and pulls hand-wiped. Plus the touch points your guests will actually notice the moment they walk in.

09

Owner walkthrough

Before we leave, we walk the space with you (or send photos) so anything that needs a second pass gets one. We do not consider a job done until you do.

10

Documentation & handoff package

For builders, GCs, and property managers, we provide before/after photos, a completed scope checklist, and a Certificate of Insurance with your entity named as additional insured when required. So your closeout file is complete on day one.

Why a Real Final Clean Matters

Construction dust is more than a cosmetic problem.

A poorly cleaned new build can affect the air you breathe, the finishes you just paid for, and how the whole space feels for months. Here is what a thorough Final Clean actually protects.

A

Your air quality

Drywall dust, sawdust, and silica are tiny enough to settle deep in HVAC systems and keep recirculating for weeks. We pull it out at the source so the first breath in the finished space is a clean one, whoever's taking it.

B

What the finishes are worth

Polished stone, hardwood, custom tile, polished concrete, glass storefronts. All of it can be permanently dulled or scratched by gritty construction dust. Whether you spent six figures on finishes or you're handing over a brand-new unit to a tenant, what you (or your client) paid for should still look like new on day one.

C

The handoff itself

Whether it's a homeowner walking in for the first time, a buyer doing a final walkthrough with their builder, a GC's CO inspection, or a tenant signing a lease, every handoff has someone whose first impression matters. A real Final Clean is what makes that moment land the way it should.

How It Works

Four steps, no surprises.

Whether you're a homeowner walking through your remodel, a builder ready to hand off a finished home, a GC closing out a build, or a PM turning a unit, this is exactly how we get you there.

1

Walkthrough & Quote

We visit the space (in person or virtually), look at the condition, and give you a clear flat price with no hidden charges.

2

Heavy Dust Removal

Our crew strips the space of construction debris and the heavy first layer of dust on every surface, top to bottom.

3

Detail Clean

Every cabinet, fixture, window, vent, and surface gets hand-detailed. This is the slow, careful pass that sets us apart.

4

Final Walk & Handoff

We walk the space with you (homeowner, super, builder, or PM) and handle any second pass needed. Before/after photos and scope sign-off available for closeout files.

Quick Answers

Regular house cleaning assumes a space that's already lived in and just needs maintenance. A Final Clean assumes the opposite: a space that just came out of construction and has dust, debris, paint splatter, sticker residue, and grime in places a normal cleaner wouldn't even think to look. Different tools, different products, different training, and more time on site.

Most single-family homes take one to three days depending on size, finish complexity, and how dusty the project is. Larger custom homes are scheduled in phases. Multifamily and commercial projects are scheduled by building or by unit block to fit your closeout timeline. We give you a clear timeline at the walkthrough so you can plan around it.

Yes. HEPA vacuums, microfiber, finish-safe products, ladders, and any specialty tools the job requires. You don't need to provide anything. If there are specific products you want us to use on a sensitive finish, we're happy to use those too.

Yes. We carry general liability and workers' comp, our team is W-2 employees (not 1099 subs), and we can issue a Certificate of Insurance with your entity named as additional insured the same day you ask. We're also Procore-ready and can handle compliance vendor portals if you use them.

Yes. We've done multifamily phases as large as 244 units across 43 buildings, and we run smaller turn programs for property managers across multiple addresses. We can build a recurring schedule so the same crew, same checklist, and same standard hits every unit. That consistency is usually the reason people switch to us.

For homeowners, we walk the space with you (or send photos if you can't be there) and address anything you want a second look at. For builders, GCs, and PMs, we walk it with your super or PM, deliver before/after photos and a completed scope checklist, and stay until you sign off. If something turns up after we leave, just call or text. We come back and make it right.

All of Maricopa County, including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Buckeye, and Sun City. If you're nearby and not on this list, just ask. We probably cover you.
